Information on how to delete your account and data
Overview
At AarPick, we respect your privacy and provide you with the ability to delete your account and associated data at any time. This page outlines the steps you can take to request data deletion.
How to Request Data Deletion
You can request the deletion of your account and all associated personal information through either of the following methods:
Method 1: Via the App
Navigate to Settings > Profile > Delete Account within the AarPick mobile application. Following the prompts will immediately initiate the account closure and data deletion process.
Method 2: Contact Support
Send an email to support@aarpick.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include your registered phone number or email address.
What Data is Deleted?
Upon successful processing of your request:
- Your personal profile information (name, email, phone number)
- Your saved addresses and location history
- Your order history (anonymized for internal reporting where required by law)
- Your payment method identifiers (note: we do not store full credit card details)
Data Retention
Please note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention, resolving disputes, and enforcing our Terms and Conditions. Once such requirements are met, the data will be permanently deleted from our systems.
